পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 19 - 20; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 7-8; পায়ূ কাঁটা 2; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 14 - 16; কশেরুকা : 31 - 32. This species is distinguished by the following set of characters: orbital cirrus absent; regular vertical brown bars on trunk separated by narrow white interspaces; well-defined horseshoe-shaped blotch of dark pigment on cheek (Ref. 86414).
