الأشواك الظهرية (المجموع): 2; الأشعة الظهرية الناعمة (المجموع): 5; أشعه شرجية لينه: 11; فقرات: 35. Eye very small (4%HL). Length of adipose-fin base 12.6% SL. Interorbital distance 28% HL. Sharply contrasted color pattern of dark yellow patches on chocolate brown body. Total vertebrae 35. Gill rakers on first gill arch 1+5. Dorsal third of the flanks with small tubercles (Ref. 56231).
