Mjukstrålar i ryggfenan (totalt) : 15 - 16; Mjukstrålar i analfenan: 8 - 9. Diagnosis: mouth opening strongly curved and crescentic; no barbels; last unbranched dorsal ray weakly ossified and flexible; pelvic fin inserts below middle of dorsal fin (Ref. 81639).

Maximum TL recorded: 21.3 cm (Ref. 2801).
