Épines dorsales (Total): 4; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 9; Épines anales 0; Rayons mous anaux: 8. Body light to dark brown in color; black blotch on distal portion of 3rd dorsal spine; black submarginal band on anal fin (Ref. 4405).
Found on sandy and muddy substrate of coastal areas (Ref. 5213).
