Head and body with two black stripes, one middorsal and one lateral, the two separated by a narrow bright yellow stripe which commences on upper part of eye; all three stripes continuing into caudal fin (Ref. 13442).
Occurs in groups near coral heads (Ref. 9710). Picks external parasites found on other fishes (Ref. 13628). Monogamous (Ref. 52884).
