Adults are found around ledges and the bases of small caves of steep outer reef slopes. They occur in small groups that remain close to shelter (Ref. 7247). Diurnal species (Ref. 52881). Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding (Ref. 205). Eggs are demersal and adhere to the substrate (Ref. 205). Males guard and aerate the eggs (Ref. 205).
