Short description
Claves de identificación | Morfología | Morfometría
Distinguished from all its congeners except P. shanensis by having a complete lateral line. It seems related to P. shanensis in morphology but can be distinguished by its pointed snout, 18-20 transverse bars along lateral side of body, fewer branched dorsal-fin rays, fewer branched pectoral-fin rays, a greater pre-pelvic length, a more slender caudal-peduncle, a higher dorsal fin, and a shorter pelvic fin (Ref. 87185).
