Duri punggung (Keseluruhan (total)): 0; duri punggung lunak (Keseluruhan (total)): 5-7; Duri dubur 0; Sirip dubur lunak: 10 - 12; vertebrata, bertulang belakang: 26 - 27. Diagnosis: Small and slender species with rounded fins; dorsal fin with 5-7 rays, anal fin with 10-12 rays; scales on mid-lateral series 25-28 (Ref. 28714, 57259).
Found in pools, swamps, shallow waters and drainage ditches (Ref. 3788, 57259). Not a seasonal killifish (Ref. 27139).
