Dorsale stekels (totaal): 5; Dorsale zachte stralen (totaal): 36; Anale stekels 0; Anale zachte stralen: 33. Lateral line scales 49 (upper), 11 (lower). Body brown dorsally and pale brown ventrally with dark brown indistinct crossbars; black blotch on posterior part of first dorsal fin membrane; margins of second dorsal, anal and caudal fins dusky; dusky band on caudal fin base (Ref. 27363).
